Inflation bag

The inflation bag is one of the secrets that makes packrafting possible, making it feasable to inflate your boat easily and without having to carry heavy gear. By filling the bag and then transferring it into the boat you will be done in no time! Once the raft is almost full you will need to top up by blowing into the boat or with a small pump.

Our inflation bag is manufactured using ultralight paraglider fabric. It is equipped with a Leafield adaptor that can screw into any boat equipped with such a valve. Once you have finished, roll up the bag and forget about it: it can fit into your pfd or drybag.

The fabric is made by a local manufacturer, and the bag, like all the accessoires we make, is produced from A to Z in our workshop.

Mekong Advice: Don’t hesitate to top up your boat before heading out if the water is very cold, and remember not to leave a full boat in the sun if you decide to stop for a picnic!
