TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

All our packrafts are designed, manufactured and tested in France from A to Z, in our workshop in Drôme, using the best materials available.

CONSTRUCTION
We do not use a drop of glue, the pieces of fabric used to make the boats are exclusively and completely welded together at high frequency, an assembly technology that guarantees extraordinary durability. The welded sections are thus stronger after welding than before.

MATERIALS
In its Classic version, the sidewalls are made of 210 denier high tenacity nylon with a double coat of TPU. The floor is 840 denier nylon with a double TPU coating, which is extremely resistant to abrasion.

In its Armor version, the sidewalls are made of 420 denier high tenacity nylon with a double coat of TPU. The floor is 840 denier nylon with a double TPU coating, which is extremely resistant to abrasion.

Our packrafts are equipped with Leafield D7 valves, the most robust and durable valve on the planet. The Leafield D7 valve is guaranteed for life. As well as fasteners with stainless steel ring.

We use the Tizip™ Superseal product for the internal storage system (optional) as well as stainless steel rings for making the fasteners. The cushions have “low profile” valves with non-return valve and rapid deflation opening.

KNEE STRAPS
Need precision and control? Lightweight and minimalist, our knee straps give you more control without adding hardly any weight to the boat.

INTERNAL STORAGE (OPTION)
Are you heading out on a multi-day expedition and need to carry lots of gear and provisions? The internal storage system will allow you to keep it all inside your boat, safe and dry. This will also free up space on the front of the packraft for extra gear.

HOW TO CHOOSE MY PACKRAFT ?

This one is simple: evacuation holes are placed in the bottom of the packraft to let water out. Because some water will always remain in the bottom, a slightly thicker, and boat-long inflatable seat is added to keep your body high and dry.

Self bailers are great for paddlers wanting to paddle some cool white water. If a wave enters your raft, it’s not a problem: it will simply drain out through the bottom as if nothing had happened. They are good for when continual scouting makes a deck and spray skirt combination cumbersome.

The internal storage system consists of an airproof zipper (Superseal by Tizip) that is welded to the back of your packraft. By opening the zip you have access to the inside of the boat and can store you gear (tent, sleeping bags, backpack…) safely. Think about it like turning your packraft into a giant dry-bag. You have over 150L to store your gear. More than enough space for even those that can’t leave home without the kitchen sink. Zip it up and you are off!

The internal storage system is extremely practical for those who go on an expedition over several days or weeks and need to bring a large quantity of equipment and provisions. It is also of great interest during bike-rafting outings where the front of the packraft is already occupied by your bike. During day trips, it is not so essential, but simplifies life.

Please remember that the Tizip needs to be treated delicately and cleaned regularly. Because of this is is excluded from our warranty, like other manufacturers. If you zip is damaged or dirty it will leak slightly. In conclusion, if you are not someone who is not very careful with their equipment, maybe you should think carefully about adding this option.
