Jekyll in action

Boiled down innovation

The H shaped side tube delivers groundbreaking rigidity for a packraft, reducing the width of the boat for increased speed and impact resistance when boofing.

A three dimensional pattented bottom offers a progressive geometry:  secondary stability and a real full rocker that is adjusted the whole length of the boat.

Our inflatable AirShape floor adapts perfectly to the shape of the packraft. Easy to inflate, it offers a comfortable sitting position and creates forward edges for carving.

It comes with our latest improvements: ergonomic cockpit, a compact EVA foam backrest, and a larger inflation bag. 100% HF Welded. 100% Made in France.

To guaranty the best durability, we use double TPU coated high tensile nylon, made in the USA. This gives us best in class performance in terms of tear, abrasion and UV resistance.

The V shaped profile gives a smooth ride without sacrificing any comfort. The internal volume is shaped to accomodate the knees for a position of power and gives the paddler optimal control.

Our comfortable 5-point knee braces will adapt to all body shapes, ensuring a precise transmission of movement to the boat when most needed.

Cleaning and emptying your packraft is made easy: two holes placed at the bottom of the spraydeck make it possible to drain water and dirt after a session on the water.

The birth of a legend

We were travelling back for one of our trips on the Ubaye river, queen of the Hauts Alpes. As the train cut through tunnels and the wild mountains of the Diois we dreamt of a new boat that would push the limits of packrafting a bit further. We had seen the kayaks overtake us on the classic run and we were envious. During the ride, an idea was born: to create a full rocker, a real white-water packraft. We started to sketch out some ideas as we headed back to the workshop: a sharper prow to split the rapids, harmonious lines for a smooth run…

Back in Crest, we unrolled all our fabric samples, started up the welding machines and turned on our laptops: ready to start working on a first prototype. For the next several months we built and tested fifteen different iterations. We really had to keep pushing to go the whole way and not loose sight of the original dream.

Finally, all the efforts were worth it: we went back to the Ubaye this winter. The king has arrived!

FAQ

We build your packrafts to your design and therefore have limited stock. Our lead time can vary from one to three months but is subjected to the volume of orders. If you would like to find out the exact delay, please give us a call. In any case, if you have a trip or expedition coming up with a cut-off date, it’s best to order as early as possible!

This boat is designed for experienced paddlers and kayakers who want to have fun on the river while enjoying the convenience of a packraft. Much less stable than a classic packraft, but faster, stiffer and more playful, it allows you to edge, carve and roll. Paddling is more demanding but the payoff is way greater: feel the river and go get those lines! To achieve this result, we reimagined the packraft’s entire shape by modifying its sidewalls, hull and inflatable floor.

It is available in one colour scheme: triple blue with a black stripe. The other colours you may see in the pictures are prototypes only used during testing.
