Meet the Kim Kong!
More than an expedition canoe, more than a packraft: a large boat built for epic adventures! This is our first craft designed to be paddled with a single-blade paddle, just like a canoe.

Rediscover the joy of sharing time on the water. The Kim Kong comfortably accommodates two or even three adults, or a family with children. Highly versatile, it’s just as suited for fishing trips, tandem bikerafting adventures, or use as a sailboat tender. With a generous load capacity of 350 kg (770 lbs), you can easily carry everything you need for multi-day expeditions.

Its greatest strength: outstanding adaptability in all conditions. On flat water, the elevated seating position provides excellent comfort and lets you fully enjoy the scenery. In whitewater, the low kneeling position lowers the center of gravity for increased stability and safety. Its closable self-bailing system allows you to switch between modes in seconds. The patented Fastlock clip-in plugs are quick and easy to install, sealing the drain holes for smooth gliding on lakes and rivers, then opening up to tackle rapids with confidence.

The removable inflatable floor adds rigidity and comfort while protecting your knees. Adjustable seating positions make it easy to fine-tune the setup for each trip. Built with reinforced Armor fabric, it combines durability with long-lasting performance.

Recommended for: expedition touring, family outings on flat water, tandem bikerafting, whitewater up to Class IV, use as a sailboat tender, fishing.

A Big Boat for Grand Adventures

Highly versatile, it can be used in two distinct configurations. On flat water, the elevated seated position offers excellent comfort and relaxed paddling, while in whitewater, the low kneeling position provides better control and stability.

Its self-bailing system, fitted with Fastlock plugs, allows quick adaptation to changing conditions. In just a few seconds, it switches from a closed configuration—where the drain holes are sealed—to a fully self-bailing setup.

Its flat longitudinal profile helps maintain a straight course and improves glide by reducing drag. A slight rocker at the bow helps it punch through waves in whitewater.

On flat water, the removable skeg enhances tracking and makes each paddle stroke smoother and more efficient.

Highly modular, its 350 kg load capacity allows for fully equipped expeditions without compromise.

The seating positions are adjustable and can be configured to suit crew composition as well as paddling style and water conditions.

For unmatched strength and durability, the Kim Kong is made from Armor fabric, our high-tenacity 420-denier nylon with a double TPU coating.

It comes equipped with our latest updates: removable seat cushions and a large-capacity inflation bag. 100% high-frequency welded, 100% made in France.

FAQ

Our Armor fabric is made from high-tenacity 420-denier nylon with a double TPU coating. It offers exceptional resistance to both abrasion and tearing. Trusted by more than 70 professional guides we work with across Europe, it is also tested and pushed to its limits by explorers during some of the most demanding expeditions.

The internal storage system is based on an airtight and waterproof zipper (Superseal model from the German brand Tizip), welded into the central rear tube of your packraft. By opening this zipper, you gain direct access to the inside of the boat’s tubes. You can then store your gear – tent, sleeping bag, small backpack, etc. – protected from moisture, while freeing up space on the deck.

The storage volume reaches approximately 300 liters, offering generous capacity to carry all your equipment. You simply close the Tizip carefully, inflate the boat… and you’re ready to go!

This system is particularly recommended for multi-day or multi-week expeditions, when you need to carry a lot of gear and supplies. It is also very useful for bike-rafting, when the front of the packraft is already occupied by your bike. For day trips, internal storage is not essential, but it provides real organizational comfort.

The Tizip requires regular maintenance and must be handled with care. If it becomes worn or if sand or mud gets trapped in the closure, a slight air leak may occur. In short: if you tend to be rough with your gear, consider carefully whether this option is truly suited to your use before choosing it.

The Kim Kong is available in two colorways: Magma Orange or Arctic Sand.

It is also possible to customize your packraft by choosing the color of each tube. This customization costs €50. The online store does not yet allow you to select your preferred color(s), so please let us know your choice when placing your order.

We have packrafts in stock, so we can deliver within 24 hours if you’re flexible on options (colors, internal storage, etc.).

For a custom-made packraft, our production lead time is 4 weeks. It’s therefore best to plan ahead if you have a trip or expedition on a specific date and want a very specific configuration.
