The Egalis Swift Aluminium paddle is best used on calm lakes or very easy white water. It is suitable for beginners or those on a tight budget,  and can also be used as a back-up or spare paddle on longer trips. It is a versatile paddle with a relatively large support surface and the possibility to choose between different feathering angles  of the fibrylon blades. It is equipped with drip guards to keep your hands dry. It can be taken to pieces, and the four parts (max 65cm length) can easily fit into your backpack.

Mekong Tip: When paddling in winter conditions, use neoprene pogies to keep your hands warm or tape over the shaft. The aluminum  will tend to increase the cold sensation. If paddling in colder climates, we recommend the Mekong Carbone Vario, which is lighter and has a carbon fiber shaft.
